Oxyma continues to build on omni-channel proposition.
Rotterdam, The Netherlands, April 21st 2016. Oxyma, the first fully integrated omni-channel marketing agency in the Netherlands, has taken a 100% interest in digital performance agency Oogst.
Oogst continues to operate autonomous and under its own brand name. Oogst founders will invest in Oxyma and help to shape and accomplish the joint omni-channel ambitions.
In late 2015, Oxyma announced its plans to become the Netherlands’ first truly integrated omni-channel marketing agency via a ‘buy & build’ strategy. Over the past few months, the company has carried out a strategic market scan and held exploratory meetings with parties in the Netherlands and abroad. With the addition of Oogst, Oxyma gains an absolute top player in the field of digital performance marketing. Services that will be added to the portfolio include search/display advertising, digital analytics, media optimization and DMPs.
With the previous acquisition of mobile agency aFrogleap, Oxyma now consists of a group of specialized companies in the field of mobile marketing, paid media, owned media and CRM. Similar to how aFrogleap operates, Oogst will continue to do business under its own label. At the same time both companies contribute to the integrated omni-channel proposition of Oxyma from the outset and will work towards one joint Oxyma identity.
“More and more our clients are looking for a ‘leading agency’ that can act as a business partner in measuring, creating and optimizing customer value across all media and communication channels. They expect an integral and integrated omni-channel approach from their agency” says Oxyma CEO Ronald Morcus. “We already covered a great deal with our existing propositions, although up to now we still had a strong focus on the owned media channels and CRM.” “As an acknowledged frontrunner in the Dutch market with a highly specialized expertise in paid media, Oogst will further strengthen Oxyma’s position as the omni-channel marketing specialist. I am delighted that we were able to enroll the entrepreneurs from Oogst together with their 30 highly enthusiastic professionals. Collectively we’ll work on realizing our joint ambitions”
Nico Maessen, co-founder of Oogst, agrees: “In Oxyma we have found a partner that shares our vision on online marketing. We had already been working together on various occasions and felt a strong cultural and intrinsic connection. This partnership greatly enhances our ability to provide clients with the integrated services we need to create the best customer journeys. It is a challenging and exciting new phase for us. We want to retain Oogst’s strong position in the marketplace while -at the same time- make maximum use of group synergy”
“In just ten years, we became one of the leading agencies in the field of online marketing and online data” adds Philip Spaas, co-founder of Oogst. “Joining forces with Oxyma, means that we can now offer an even broader and more innovative service portfolio to our clients covering customer contact strategies, media, creation, marketing platforms and analyses. Our specialisms makes Oogst the perfect match for Oxyma, and vice versa.”
